Before going to Huntington Beach, I had never heard of The Bungalow. If this is you, please allow me to explain. This is not your average restaurant or bar. Located in the middle of Pacific City, an oceanfront shopping center, this restaurant emulates a remodeled house from earlier times. As you plan your trip to Surf City, be sure to check out The Bungalow in Huntington Beach and enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the ocean.
When you walk in, you are met with the smell of rich leather and vintage décor. Wooden beams line the ceilings and leather chairs welcome visitors. There is a main bar inside the home before walking onto the patio. Outside, overlooking Huntington Beach, is a bar complete with couches, fire pits and heaters. String lights twinkle overhead as you are transported into an oasis.

1. The View
The patio overlooks Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean. Palm trees line the surroundings and the relaxing oasis welcomes you in.
2. The Vibe
The Bungalow is a 21 and over spot so you know what is bound to happen here. Some nights there are DJs and get crazier than others.
The dark aesthetic inside The Bungalow sets the scene for a relaxing drink at the beach. With different rooms inside the home with leather couches and a pool table, you and your friends can find a corner that fits your vibe.
As much as we loved sitting inside, we made our way to the patio. Overlooking palm trees and the setting sun was necessary to complete our trip to the beach. Even though it was a Thursday night, the DJ was playing 90’s Tupac and Biggie so were couldn’t have been any happier.
3. The Menu

The Bungalow is more than a place for a cocktail. They also serve a few food dishes. With the help of Bear Flag Fish Co., you can order appetizers to compliment your cocktail. This restaurant is located on the first level of Pacific City and is the food partner for The Bungalow.

4. The Drinks
With a cocktail menu complete with sangria and margaritas, I have found myself ordering wine each time I have been to The Bungalow.
There is something about sitting on the patio that makes me crave a good wine. The two times we ordered bottles of wine, the staff was attentive to chill it and come pay to pour it.

5. The Location
The Bungalow is located on the second level of Pacific City. Pacific City is an oceanfront retail shopping center complete with restaurants and a food hall. If you are looking to do a little shopping, there is a two-story Urban Outfitters, H&M, Brandy Melville, and many more.
Furthermore, this property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. This means you will be about 0.5 miles from the Huntington Beach Pier. Your walk will be complete with palm trees and a view of the beach.
