In the sixth season of The Office, Dunder Mifflin is facing serious hardships and Steve Carrell is preparing to leave the show. With all of the chaos surrounding them, Jim Halpert shares some knowledge when he turns to the camera and says “I only slack off when things are good”.

I only drink Lemon Drops when things are good. Like on a Friday after a long week or at a rooftop bar on vacation, this is how I celebrate life. When I look back at the number of sugar rims I have sipped from, many fun and traveled moments come to mind. And when the martini glass is empty, it is time to get back to work.

It is like the old saying “work hard, play hard.” (Though in Jim’s case, it might be the opposite!) When it is time to grind, I put my head down and work. Otherwise, it is time to sit back and relax. Such as, on a trip!

As much as I enjoy taking trips, I love planning them. Researching different places to eat and drink after a long day of exploring is a favorite pastime. After living the experiences, I love sharing them with friends and family. When it comes to documenting my favorite trips, I have to do it with the drink I celebrated them with. Thus, The Lemon Drop Chronicles is born.
