It was the ultimate prison. A federal penitentiary. The worst of the worst. There was not a better place at the time to keep the bad ones locked up. Think about it. These men were locked up on an island a mile of choppy waters away from civilization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With nothing but time on their hands, many dreamt of escape. But, it would not come easy. It would not come without a price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
